1 — ESGT is a public institution of higher education whose mission is to train high-quality professionals in the fields of Business, Social, and Behavioral Sciences, with strong ties to the labor market, and to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and knowledge transfer within a culture of work and rigor.

2 — ESGT encourages the intellectual and professional development of its students and ensures conditions that allow qualified individuals to access higher education and lifelong learning.

3 — ESGT is governed in its administration and management by the principles of democracy and the participation of all institutional bodies, aiming to:

a) Encourage the free expression of ideas and opinions;

b) Promote the participation of all teaching and non-teaching staff associated with the school, as well as students, in its activities;

c) Guarantee the freedom of scientific and cultural creation, within the framework of the School’s goals and responsibilities;

d) Ensure the necessary conditions for a continuous attitude of scientific and pedagogical innovation;

e) Promote a close connection between its activities and the community it is part of, while keeping in mind the phenomenon of globalization, aiming at the economic and cultural development of society and the integration of its graduates into professional life.

Objectives

1 — ESGT is responsible for the planning, implementation, supervision, monitoring, and execution of projects in the areas defined in its mission, namely:

a) Teaching and training projects, which include:
i. Higher education courses leading to an academic degree;
ii. Postgraduate courses;
iii. Technological-professional specialization courses;
iv. Lifelong learning courses;
v. Other non-degree courses.

b) Research projects;
c) Projects for providing services to external entities.

2 — To achieve its objectives, ESGT will share material and human resources belonging to IPT, in coordination with the other organic and functional units of IPT.

3 — ESGT may organize joint initiatives or projects with other IPT units, including study programs and research projects.
