Actividades

Aiming to achieve its objectives, the responsibilities of ESGT include:

a) The creation and implementation of study programs leading to the awarding of bachelor's and master's degrees;

b) The provision of post-secondary technical courses (TeSP), postgraduate training courses, and other non-degree courses, in accordance with the law;

c) The creation of an educational environment appropriate to fulfilling its mission;

d) The conduct of applied research and participation in scientific institutions;

e) The transfer and economic valorization of scientific and technological knowledge;

f) The organization of professional training and knowledge updating activities;

g) The provision of services to the community and support for development;

h) Cooperation and cultural, scientific, and technical exchange with similar institutions, both national and international;

i) Contribution, within its scope of action, to international cooperation and the fostering of closer ties between peoples, with special emphasis on Portuguese-speaking countries and European countries;

j) The production and dissemination of knowledge and culture.

In order to carry out its responsibilities, ESGT may, in accordance with the law and the statutes of the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (IPT), either on its own initiative or through IPT, establish agreements, conventions, and cooperation protocols with public or private entities, both national and international.
