Prerequisites
Objectives
Upon completion of the Project, students should be able to:
O1. Select, analyze, and critically interpret documents resulting from a bibliographic research, aiming at the theoretical foundation of the project to be developed.
O2. Analyze projects that apply technology in educational contexts.
O3. Establish the state of the art of the topic addressed in the project;
O4. Develop and implement STEAM projects in educational contexts;
O5. Communicate the obtained results clearly, both in writing and orally
O6. Reflect on the impact of active methodologies and technology use on student learning.
Program
CC1 Develop a project proposal that justifies the choice based on a needs assessment conducted in the professional context.
CC2 Scientific information sources and bibliographic research.
CC3 Preparation of a work plan (motivation, objectives, methodology to be adopted, planning, development of educational resources, and validation).
CC4 Implementation of the proposed project in a classroom setting, with a critical evaluation of the results achieved.
CC5 Writing of the final project report.
Evaluation Methodology
Assessment will be conducted in accordance with the "Regulations for Second-Cycle Degrees in the Schools within the Polytechnic of Tomar," comprising the following elements:
- Evaluation of the written Project Plan and its oral presentation.
Submission of the final project report and its public appraisal and discussion by a panel consisting of 3-5 members.
The assessment of the Project curricular unit involves the following components:
Submission of the project proposal (2nd trimester);
Creation and testing of educational resources;
Final report, project implementation, and public defense.
The final grade is based on the submission of the project proposal (30%) and the final delivery and public discussion of the project (70%).

In this course, it is the advisor's duty to support and guide the student in planning and implementing the proposed project.
