Prerequisites
Point 8 of article 4 of the Academic Regulations

Objectives
The student must apply the knowledge and practices acquired over the five semesters
in this experience in a work context.
At the end of the internship, the student must be able to join the professional market.

Program
The student must apply the knowledge and practices acquired over the three years of training in work experience.
Preferably, the student/intern must be integrated into a Communication agency or Communication Office of a company or institution, participating in all professional activities in the area and carrying out the tasks assigned to them by the supervisor at the internship site.
Exceptionally, the student/intern may be integrated into other companies that operate in areas of Communication, which have affinities with the training obtained during the course, in order to develop skills that allow them to pursue a professional career in this area.
The student must also meet the expectations of their internship supervisors, assuming this period as the pre-professionalization period.

Evaluation Methodology
Assessment by Frequency (Normal):
Evaluation by the host institution’s advisor: 40%
Internship report: 30%
Defense of the internship report: 30%

Assessment by Exam:
Evaluation by the host institution’s advisor: 40%
Internship report: 30%
Defense of the internship report: 30%

The final classification of the UC results from the weighted average of the classifications obtained in the defined evaluation components.
The student obtains approval for the UC, being exempt from the Exam, in accordance with the provisions of Points 11 and 12, of Article 11, of the IPT Academic Regulations.
