Objectives
Students should:
1- Develop written and oral comprehension and expression skills.
2- Appropriately apply communication strategies to structure experience and explain reality.
3- Produce texts using diverse techniques and models.
4- Critically analyse different types of discourse.
5- Acquire research methods and techniques.
6- Master and apply methods and techniques for researching, recording, and processing information.
7- Recognise the importance of adapting discourse to the communication context.
8- Demonstrate mastery of discourse and adapt it to different communicative contexts.

Evaluation Methodology
- Continuous Assessment: Written test (50%) + In-class assignments (25%) + Written assignment and oral presentation (25%)
- Students will only be exempt from the final exam if none of the assessment components is graded below 8 (eight) out of 20, and if the overall average is equal to or higher than 9.5 out of 20.
- Final Exam: Written exam (100%)
