Prerequisites

Objectives
O1 - Understand the fundamentals of project-based learning (PBL) and its application in STEAM contexts to promote collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.
O2 - Explore innovative digital technologies in the design and development of interdisciplinary projects.
O3 - Plan STEAM projects based on real problems, using agile methodologies.
O4 - Implement creative solutions using technology and experimental approaches to solve challenges in educational and/or community contexts.
O5 - Develop strategies for evaluation and continuous improvement of STEAM projects.
O6 - Promote the communication of projects to ensure the sharing of knowledge and the dissemination of good practice in educational and professional environments.

Evaluation Methodology
The continuous assessment of the course is composed of the following elements:
A1. Transdisciplinary STEAM Project Proposal (group): 50% 50%
A2. Participation in discussion forums (individual): 20%
A3. Digital reflective portfolio (individual): 20%
A4. In-class participation: 10%
The final grade must be equal to or greater than 9.5 points.
A minimum grade of 9.5 out of 20 is required to pass. The final grade is calculated using the formula Final Grade = 0,5*A1+0,2*A2+0,2*A3+0,1*A4.
Final assessment (A): Students take an open-book exam (A=100%) and will be awarded a pass if they obtain a minimum mark of 9.5 out of 20.
Assessment in the Resit and Special Exam Period (A): Students take the open-book exam (A=100%) and will be awarded a pass if they obtain a minimum mark of 9.5 out of 20.
