Objectives
At the end of the curricular unit, students should:
a) Hold a broad perspective of cultural heritage;
b) Identify a set of practical tools in the field of cultural heritage management;
c) Analyze and evaluate possible impacts on cultural assets, providing monitoring instruments for cultural heritage;
d) Develop management analysis techniques on heritage(s) in order to create efficient management mechanisms regarding cultural heritage.

Evaluation Methodology
Assessment criteria:
Theoretical written test (50%) and Practical Thematic Assignment (50%).
Students must :
1) achieve a mark of 8 or more in the written test; 2) hand in the practical assignment on the date set by the lecturer. The oral presentation of the practical work is compulsory. If this is not done, the final mark for the practical assignment will be 40 per cent.
The student's final mark for the practical assignment is calculated at all assessment periods.
