Prerequisites
Advanced computer skills from a user's perspective

Objectives
A.Understand and apply visual design principles within audiovisual contexts
B. Master animation and motion graphics techniques using After Effects
C. Produce integrated audiovisual projects with technical and creative quality
D. Analyse and critically evaluate executed works.

Program
1.Fundamentals of Visual Design.
2.Color Theory and Color Psychology.
3.Typography in Motion Graphics.
4.Fundamentals of Animation.
5.After Effects interface and workflow.
6.Text Animation and Text Animators.
7.Shape Layers and Shape Animation.
8.Essential Visual Effects and Compositing.
9.Basic Color Correction.
10.Infographics and Data Animation.
11.Integration of Elements in Audiovisual Video.
12.Rendering and Exporting for Multiple Platforms.
13.Final Project.

Evaluation Methodology
Continuous Assessment (Frequency):

.Participation and Exercises: 15%.
.Project 1 (Animated Text): 20%. Includes typographic production, effects, and design/color theory.
.Project 2 (Animated Infographic): 25%. Focuses on data presentation and communicative effectiveness.
.Project 3 (Integrated Audiovisual): 40%. Production and integration of elements with synchronised visual coherence.

Exam Assessment (Normal, Resit, Special):
.Projects 1, 2, and 3 with oral presentation: 100%

The student obtains approval in accordance with the provisions of Points 11 and 12, of Article 11º, of the IPT Academic Regulations.
