Objectives
Students will acquire basic theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills by working with a large number of artifacts from a variety of sites and exhibiting different decay problems, which allows different treatment approaches and procedures.
Program
1. Technologies for the production of a polychrome wooden sculpture;
2. Damage and decay processes in polychrome wooden sculptures;
3. Conservation/restoration methodologies.
Evaluation Methodology
Final mark: practical coursework (10%)+ technical report (35%) + written test (60%)
